The big one eight ;D

So, I turned 18 on Monday and the other half took me shopping on Oxford street. I got a LOT of stuff (thank you Colin <3) src="http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn281/leanneamy/blog/birthday.jpg">

The polishes and Collection 2000 eyeshadow in the top left corner were from my sister. The stuff in the top right corner are bits and pieces from Superdrug. Bottom left corner is the Urban Decay Ammo palette, and in the bottom right corner is a few bits from Illamasqua, a Mac eyeshadow and a sample of one of BeneFit's Crescent Row franges, Laugh with me Leelee. I was really disappointed that the Crescent Row frangrances aren't released yet (they come out in the UK this Saturday, apparently); I thought they were already out 'cause they've been in the BeneFit catalogue for a few months now. *Siigh* but I'll get the full size bottle of that soon.

I haven't swatched the C2000 eye wand, liquid eyeliner, loose powder, Maybelline foundation (just needed a backup) or Bourjois blush (it's Rose Frisson, if you're interested). But I'll start with polishes ^_^;

With flash on the left, without flash on the right. Just in case you can't tell, I didn't swatch these directly onto my skin, I swatched on sellotape ;P I've had the polish at the bottom for quite a while, I just wanted to compare it to Turquoise.

My recently discovered love affair with Urban Decay continues with the Ammo palette. This was £22 in House of Fraser.

Top row L-R: Smog, Mildew, Oil Slick (I also have this one in the Foreshadow palette) Last Call, Chopper.
Bottom row L-R: Maui Wowie, Shattered, Polyester Bride, Grifter, Sin.

And here's the stuff I got from Selfridges. I think I need a Selfridges in my back garden. That would be nice. ^______^;

I cannot believe how much I love Illamasqua already. I only got a few things, I didn't want to go overboard but I'm DEFINITELY going to get some more next time I get a chance to go there. I thought it was just all hype but the products are seriously AMAZING! I got a Pure Pigment in Furore (£15), one of the Liquid Metals in Solstice (£16), and an Intense Lipgloss in Absorb (£12.50). Solstice is the most incredible thing I've ever seen, I practically had an orgasm when I swatched it in the store. Absorb is the most beautiful nude gloss I've ever come across, it's the slightest bit sticky which gives it staying power and the incredible pigmentation means you can skip lipstick altogether if you want to. I also got MAC Grand Entrace eyeshadow from the Love That Look collection (£11) and in the picture it looks very similar to Illamasqua Furore but they swatch quite differently. Take a look ;D

So there's my awesome birthday haul! I was really disappointed to discover that Sleek isn't stocked in Superdrug on Oxford Street, but I'm going to Romford tomorrow so I'm going to pickup some Sleek stuff then. Has anyone else tried Illamasqua? Opinions? Hope you're all well ^_^;

I'll leave you with my FOTD
